Frans Schuurbiers loves to push the boundaries. If a comfort zone in fact exists, this tax lawyer likes nothing more than to step outside that zone. With his background in fiscal economics and tax law, he assists businesses in extending their boundaries. In 2014 Frans celebrated his 30th work anniversary at Van Oers.
‘Continue where others stop’
‘What I like most about my field is helping businesses to push their boundaries and to pursue justifiable challenges based on a sound risk assessment. My roots lie in real family of businesspeople. In addition to my university studies in Fiscal Economics (Erasmus University Rotterdam) and Tax Law (Leiden University), my own background as a businessperson forms an important basis for advising and assisting businesses. I easily identify what issues a company is facing and am able to place myself in its ups and downs.
Despite the fact that I celebrated my 30th work anniversary at Van Oers in 2014, not a single day is the same and my work continues to be challenging. I continue where others stop, both at work and in my spare time. That is just the way I am. I seek challenges in cycling and skiing. I strongly believe that if you really want something, you can achieve it.’
